‘red meets turquoise’ in Marktschellenberg, 26.04.2015
Already yesterday after we returned from our daytrip to the Königssee, I saw the red coloured river ‘Königsseeache’.
As most of the other people, I thought that the colour comes from pollution by construction waste.
After uploading the photos from yesterday’s daytrip, I found on the web a report about that red-coloured river. The red colour was caused by a rockfall at the Untersberg.
Such happenings not often occures, so we (my girlfriend and I) decided to make a short trip to Berchtesgaden to visit that place where the red-coloured stream flows into the ‘Königsseeache’.
Before that we have had a short break at the ‘Hotel Edelweiß’.
All the photos from that red-coloured water, you can find in it’s own folder.
PS: Many thanks to FloPhotography for making the best of the photo 😀
